Walk up to the small pillar next to the vault door and activate it. Keep your eyes right and you’ll come across a big vault door, with runes glowing on the side. Travel to the flag just west of the Cliffside Path zone and walk up the stairs into the Cliffside Path proper. Once you have the Forgotten Chapel quest, you can use your quest marker to guide you to the door. Once you’ve sunk all three small pillars, you’ll get the Forgotten Chapel quest.įinding the door to the Forgotten Chapel The vault door in on the Cliffside Path - you had to run by it to reach The Monolith. You’ll see the final small pillar at the top of the stairs.Īctivate this one to make it sink into the ground. Once the cutscene of the story missions play out and you’re told to go back to camp, run all the way to the back of the temple, behind some tents, and up the stairs. You can’t access this one until you finish the main story for this area. The third small pillar is in The Monolith zone of the Canyon of the Grand Obelisk area.

Interact with the pillar, and it will sink into the ground. Inside the temple, you’ll see a small loot chest and the second small pillar. Follow the stairs up to a small temple area where you may need to fight off more monsters. Once all the monsters are dead, go up the slope and take a sharp right. Clear the area of enemies - you’ll need to kill a lot of these things to get them to stop coming. Walk forward until you encounter a horde of monsters. Stay in the Canyon Entrance zone for the next small pillar. Step up to the pillar and activate it by interacting. Follow the path until you reach the glowing pillar next to the brazier. To find the first small pillar in the Canyon of the Grand Obelisk, walk out of your camp and into the Canyon Entrance zone. Once you’ve found them all, you can track the quest and the objective marker will lead you toward the door. There are two pillars in the Canyon Entrance zone and one in The Monolith zone All three are easy to find if you’re doing your own exploring, but use the map above to make sure you don’t miss any. You’ll need to activate three small pillars to even unlock the Forgotten Chapel quest.
